The Stainless Steel 410/410HT is a hardenable, martensitic stainless steel. It combines the superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the excellent corrosion resistance of chromium stainless. It features high strength, heat resistance, and good ductility. Good corrosion resistance in mild atmospheres, steam, and mild chemical environments make it well suited for highly stressed parts. This grade of 410 stainless steel is magnetic in both the annealed and hardened conditions.
These materials are not a single material but the name for a family of corrosion resistant steels. Like many scientific breakthroughs, the origins of stainless steel lies in a lucky accident. From the smallest part of the zipper to the largest building skyscraper.
Metal fabrication is widely used across various industrial sectors such as mining, construction, manufacturing, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace, and energy.
