Stainless Steel 321/321H

Stainless Steel 321/321H

These grades are used because they are not sensitive to intergranular corrosion after heating within the carbide precipitation range of 425-850 °C. Grade 321 is the grade of choice for applications in the temperature range of up to about 900 °C, combining high strength, resistance to scaling, and phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion.

Application Industries

These materials are not a single material but the name for a family of corrosion resistant steels. Like many scientific breakthroughs, the origins of stainless steel lies in a lucky accident. From the smallest part of the zipper to the largest building skyscraper.
Metal fabrication is widely used across various industrial sectors such as mining, construction, manufacturing, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace, and energy.
