Alloy Steel F92

Alloy Steel F92

Alloy Steel F92® is an alloy steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. The cited properties are appropriate for the normalized and tempered condition. F92 is the ASTM designation for this material. K92460 is the UNS number. It has a fairly low thermal conductivity among wrought alloy steels in the same category. In addition, it has a very high base cost and a very high electrical conductivity.

Application Industries

These materials are not a single material but the name for a family of corrosion resistant steels. Like many scientific breakthroughs, the origins of stainless steel lies in a lucky accident. From the smallest part of the zipper to the largest building skyscraper.
Metal fabrication is widely used across various industrial sectors such as mining, construction, manufacturing, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace, and energy.
